Children's Ministry Safety Acknowledgement (01.08.2021)

Thank you for reviewing this document!
If your children will be joining us for children's ministry classes, please review the following acknowledgement:

First, let us say how grateful we are to worship with you and your family soon! We are glad to share our revised safety measures. Our desire is to offer you and your children an appealing and enjoyable experience in our children's ministry while maintaining the standards that will best ensure your child’s safety.

At the present time, only individuals going to a children's class will be permitted to the children's area (beyond the designated drop-off and pick-up area). For most classes, this is immediately outside of each classroom. The nursery has a drop-off area directly inside the room but separate from the play area.

Before entering the children's ministry area, each child's temperature will be taken with a touch-free thermometer. To enter their class, they must be free from any COVID-19 symptoms. If symptoms appear during class time, I will be immediately contacted and will need to pick my child up. My child will need to be symptom-free for 72 hours before returning to the facility.

Children over three years old will need to wear a mask at all times while in the children’s area.

We ask all parents to take the necessary steps during the week, in light of the CDC’s recommendations to reduce exposure to Covid-19, not only for your own family but also for other children, teachers, and CCC members.

Please be sure to notify CCC leadership at the very earliest opportunity if you become aware of any person with whom you or your child have had contact who exhibits COVID-19 symptoms, is advised to self-isolate, quarantine, has tested positive, or is presumed positive for COVID-19.

Please also recognize that while in the children's area, your child will be in contact with others who may be at risk of community exposure. We want you to fully understand that no list of guidelines will completely remove the risk of exposure to any illness. Therefore, we all play a crucial role in reducing the risk of exposure by following the practices outlined here.

Your child's participation in our ministry indicates that you have read, understand, and agree to honor these guidelines. Thank you sincerely. We love the opportunity to serve you and your children.
